The Changemakers in Aging Summit convenes students, young professionals, researchers, and cross-sector leaders committed to shaping the future of aging. Hosted in partnership with GSA, the Summit creates a dedicated space for emerging leaders to engage with aging through biomedical research, policy, advocacy, communications, and whole-person care, building a strong pipeline of young people into aging-related fields.

About the
Summit
On November 6 and 7, 2026, Changemakers in Aging, in partnership with the Gerontological society of America (GSA), will host a day-long event for undergraduates, graduate students and young professionals who aspire to shape the future of gerontology through biomedical innovation, policy reform and social impact. This summit will be a part of GSA's 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in National Harbor, MD.

Registration
The Changemakers in Aging (CIA) Summit is a day-long symposium uniting the next generation of leaders transforming the future of aging. We are bringing together an interdisciplinary community of emerging professionals - from high school and undergraduate students, to graduate school scholars, to early-career leaders in gerontology. Whether you’re passionate about aging policy, intergenerational connection, breakthrough research in longevity science, or clinical gerontology, there is something for everyone! Join us for a full day of engaging panels featuring leading experts in the field, meaningful networking with top organizations and professionals driving the aging landscape, the exciting reveal of our op-ed competition winners, interactive experiences (yes, including a photo booth!), good food, and plenty of opportunities to connect and collaborate! Out of respect for our speakers and fellow attendees, we ask that participants attend the full day experience.
